Responsible production
At ACM Metal, we believe that modern manufacturing must be precise, efficient and responsible. Our goal is to provide facade solutions that are both durable and environmentally friendly. To this end, we have made conscious investments in recent years to reduce production waste and reuse materials.
In 2025, we enhanced our production capacity with two important pieces of equipment – a guillotine shear and a special slicer. The guillotine shear prepares the production waste to a suitable size for recycling, while the slicer uses a heated cutter to separate the layers of the aluminum composite panel: the aluminum sheet and the FR core material. This results in two pure components – aluminum, which goes into the scrap metal recycling process, and the FR plastic core, which is sent back to the STACBOND factory in Spain, where approximately 10% of it is added to the production of new panels.
This circular production cycle ensures that our partners’ projects are part of a wider and more efficient material cycle, reducing waste and their CO₂ footprint. When you work with ACM Metal, you can be sure that each project supports not only technical precision and quality, but also responsible construction practices that think beyond today’s object.
